Senior Database Developer – Regional Information Platform
Role Description
We are seeking an independent and experienced database developer for a project within a regional information platform/data warehouse. The assignment involves further developing and ensuring the quality of solutions that enable effective management of operational data for monitoring, analysis, research, and quality registers. You will work closely with the business and the development team, focusing on SQL development, data modeling, and ETL flows.
Responsibilities
• Work on the development and further enhancement of a regional data warehouse/information platform.
• Develop and optimize direct transfers of data from journal systems to quality registers.
• Identify, compile, and transform data from source databases for further transfer to integration platforms.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL flows in SQL Server/ETL tools (e.g., SSIS).
• Work on data modeling to ensure quality, traceability, and performance in data warehouse solutions.
• Collaborate with business representatives to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Contribute technical expertise in BI and data warehouse development and participate in improvement initiatives related to the platform and processes.
Requirements
• Excellent knowledge of the SQL Server platform.
• Strong proficiency in T-SQL programming.
• Good experience in development with SSIS or other ETL tools.
• Solid understanding of data modeling.
• Documented experience in SQL development within BI/data warehouse solutions.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the entire development chain from analysis to delivery.
Desirable
• Certification in SQL Server.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools for version control and workflows.
• Experience in healthcare and management of healthcare data in relevant systems.
• Good insight and understanding of operations within the public sector and regions.
