Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Expert to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
• Develop and implement cybersecurity technical solutions for the vehicle architecture, ensuring protection of systems and data.
• Conduct Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments (TARA) for the vehicle platform and define cybersecurity requirements aligned with industry standards and Volvo partner guidelines.
• Perform vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and weaknesses in vehicle systems.
• Harmonize cybersecurity concepts and ensure technical consistency across the vehicle platform, including item definitions, dependencies, concept selections, and validation strategies.
• Lead end-to-end cybersecurity activities at the vehicle level, designing secure architecture solutions and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet platform security goals.
• Consolidate cybersecurity cases created by component and function teams into comprehensive vehicle-level documentation.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of cybersecurity processes in line with regulations, compliance standards (UNECE R155), ISO/SAE 21434, and internal policies.
• Support innovation initiatives involving AI integration and automation tools, including configuration of AI agents and large language models.
What you bring:
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent field.
• 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity within the automotive or embedded systems domain.
• Proven experience in leading cybersecurity activities for vehicle platforms and managing vehicle type approval.
• Strong expertise in secure architecture and cybersecurity concept design for embedded systems.
• Solid understanding of automotive communication technologies (CAN, Ethernet, wireless) and cybersecurity requirement system design.
• Knowledge of cryptography, CS best practices, and relevant industry standards and regulations (ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155, CSMS).
• Hands-on experience performing TARA for complex systems.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills with a systematic and dynamic approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and cross-functional coordination.
• Knowledge of AI integration and tool automation is considered an advantage.
