Your Role
As Finance Manager/Controller, you will have a central role in supporting the operations with financial management and analysis. You will be part of the Svappavaara management team and work closely with the Area Manager and our four departments: Mine, Processing, KMA/HR, and Technical Services. The role involves both operational and strategic responsibilities, focusing on creating clear decision-making foundations and driving financial processes forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for financial decision-making documents and financial control
- Conduct monthly reporting and analysis of operational results
- Prepare and quality assure investment calculations
- Ensure investment documentation meets decision-making requirements
- Drive budget, forecast, and Life of Mine processes
- Actively contribute to financial improvement work
- Support the Area Manager and departments on financial matters
Your Profile:
- Academic degree in economics
- Experience in similar roles (e.g., controller, finance manager)
- Excellent Swedish and English skills, both verbal and written
- B driver's license
To succeed in the role, we seek someone with a structured and analytical approach, ability to take responsibility and drive work towards set goals. You work independently with high accuracy, while also having good collaboration skills and communicating clearly with various internal and external stakeholders. You are development-oriented, constructively questioning existing working methods, and contributing new perspectives that strengthen the organization's financial management and decision-making.
