**Assignment Description:**
We are looking for a Senior Category Buyer to join our dynamic team.
**What you will work on:**
- Drive and execute the category strategy for machined parts within a global sourcing organization.
- Analyze sourcing data to identify opportunities for cost optimization, risk reduction, and supplier performance improvements.
- Build, qualify, and maintain a competitive and sustainable supplier base across global markets.
- Lead supplier reviews and negotiations to secure performance in quality, delivery, cost, sustainability, and technology.
- Manage contracts and long-term agreements while ensuring capacity and competitiveness.
- Mitigate supply risks by monitoring market conditions and implementing proactive risk-reduction measures.
- Support engineering changes, new product introductions, and supplier transitions with structured sourcing activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across quality, engineering, logistics, and operations.
- Drive continuous improvements and contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives across the organization.
- Foster strong supplier relationships built on transparency, trust, and long-term value creation.
