**Assignment Description:**
We are looking for a Senior CAD Engineer to join our dynamic team.
**What you will work on:**
- Develop high-quality design engineering documentation, including drawings and CAD modules, in alignment with standards.
- Mature and refine product designs within the CAD system, ensuring accurate representation and readiness for release.
- Redesign and update existing models, including localized improvements and adjustments to small design areas.
- Create and manage CAD components and assemblies, performing packaging analysis to detect, report, and resolve conflicts.
- Secure design quality by ensuring all models and drawings meet functional, geometrical, and production requirements.
- Produce technical drawings that clearly and sufficiently define the product for downstream verification and manufacturing.
- Define and document how technical drawings shall be used to validate the product’s geometrical properties.
- Collaborate across engineering teams to ensure alignment, clarity, and timely delivery of design updates.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the design process and documentation workflow.
- Support and coach junior engineers, sharing best practices and fostering learning within the team.
- Work confidently within the wider Group network to drive collaboration and deliver value toward technical development and business area goals.
**What you bring:**
- 5+ years of relevant experience in design engineering, preferably within automotive, marine, or industrial systems (junior engineers with strong fundamentals are also welcome).
- Proven ability to design components and create assemblies using modern CAD tools.
- Strong capability to analyze design challenges, draw conclusions, and propose effective solutions.
- Experience identifying packaging issues and implementing corrective actions in CAD models.
- Solid understanding of geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and its application in technical drawings.
- Ability to produce manufacturing-ready drawings and documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
- Familiarity with design release processes and quality assurance within a product development environment.
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
- Commitment to continuous learning and development, with the ability to support and mentor peers and junior team members.
