Senior Business Controller

**About the Assignment** We are currently seeking a Senior Business Controller for a complex organization with significant asset and infrastructure investments. The role involves supporting the existing controller function both in the line and in business development initiatives related to governance, reporting, and portfolio management. You will work both operationally with daily deliveries and strategically to develop processes, tools, and working methods. This role is suitable for someone who is analytical, self-driven, and comfortable navigating environments with many internal and external stakeholders. **Your Responsibilities** - Deliver qualified analyses and decision support - Participate in planning, forecasting, key performance indicators, and follow-up - Support projects and steering groups with reporting - Develop and streamline processes, methods, and reporting structures - Ensure clear and business-adapted packaging of information - Contribute to the management of the asset portfolio **Goals of the Assignment** - Strengthen the controller function and free up capacity in the line - Enhance the quality of reporting and decision support - Contribute to the development of processes, KPIs, and governance models - Deliver sustainable and documented solutions for portfolio management **Requirements Profile** **Mandatory Requirements** - At least 10 years of experience in qualified controller work within a complex organization - Academic education in finance or economics - At least 2 years of experience in portfolio, program, or project management - Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint - At least 2 years of experience in producing management reports and decision support - Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written **Desirable Qualifications** - 12+ years of experience in qualified controller work - Experience in business development - Experience with the interface between line, project, and portfolio - Experience with UBW (Agresso), Antura Projects, or similar systems - Experience from a government agency or regulated business **Assignment Information** Start: January 6, 2026 End: February 28, 2027 Option: 1 + 1 year Location: Sundbyberg Travel: May occur Security Clearance: Mandatory **About Soros Consulting** Soros Consulting offers qualified consulting services in IT, business development, and management.
