**Your Role**
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in Energy Trading for an exciting consulting assignment with an international energy company. You will be part of an experienced team of Business Analysts working on complex projects across multiple agile teams and business areas. The role involves close collaboration with both business and technology, and you will be a key person in ensuring that requirements, processes, and solutions meet the highest quality standards.
The assignment will begin with projects related to the Dutch market, making knowledge of the Dutch and German energy markets particularly valuable.
The role offers the opportunity for 100% remote work, with occasional travel required for meetings and workshops in Amsterdam, Hamburg, or Stockholm.
**Your Responsibilities**
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:
- Conduct stakeholder analyses and plan for stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and document analyses to identify overarching business needs.
- Define, document, and visualize business requirements, goals, and measurable success criteria.
- Model requirements through process flows, use cases, and data models.
- Categorize and structure requirements (business, stakeholder, solution, transition).
- Prioritize and validate requirements together with stakeholders and product owners.
- Ensure requirement traceability against business goals and strategic initiatives.
- Support design and development teams by clarifying and specifying requirements.
- Manage changes in requirement documentation (impact analysis, documentation, approval).
- Drive communication between business and technical sides.
- Contribute to testing and quality assurance through requirements-based test design.
**Qualifications**
**Mandatory Requirements**
- Several years of documented experience as a Business Analyst in Energy Trading.
- Experience in energy markets such as:
- Intraday markets
- Congestion services
- Balancing market access
- Experience in both continental markets (NL/DE) and Nordic markets.
- Knowledge and practical experience with ETRM systems (Energy Trading and Risk Management).
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
- Relevant university or college education.
**Desirable**
- Experience with ENDUR.
- Previous work in similar roles at E.ON or Uniper.
- Knowledge of Swedish.
- Experience working in international agile teams.
- Curiosity and the ability to quickly understand internal processes and complex environments.
**Additional Experience**
- Several years of experience in advanced requirements management in projects within the energy or trading sector.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration between business, IT, architecture, and development.
- Documented experience in workshop facilitation, process mapping, and solution design.
**Location**
- 100% remote work is possible.
- Travel as needed for meetings/workshops in Amsterdam, Hamburg, and Stockholm.
**Timeline and Scope**
- Start: As agreed / as soon as possible.
- Scope: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Duration: Ongoing assignment as a consultant.
- Option: Possibility for extension.
