About the Role
As a Backend Developer, you will design, build, and maintain robust server-based applications that are critical to the company's core operations. You will be involved in both new development and modernization of existing systems, with the opportunity to influence everything from concept to implementation. This role combines backend development with elements of DevOps, allowing you to work broadly across the entire application lifecycle.
Examples of Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs (primarily in Python and PHP).
- Manage and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure in a Linux environment.
- Write and maintain Bash scripts for automation, deployment, and operations.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Improve and modernize the existing codebase, as well as contribute new ideas to the development process.
Who You Are
You are a curious and responsible developer who enjoys being part of an open and collaborative team. You like solving problems, testing new things, and contributing to a positive atmosphere at work.
We believe you have:
- Experience in backend development using Python and/or PHP.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and terminal usage.
- Experience in writing Bash scripts for automation.
- Knowledge of databases (MySQL) and RESTful APIs.
Extra points if you also have experience with:
- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Ansible.
- Monitoring and logging.
