About the Senior Accounting Economist Role Job Description In this role, you will have a broad and independent responsibility for accounting in 3-5 legal entities. You will work with ongoing accounting, monthly closing, reconciliations, and reporting according to K3 (and potentially K2), while maintaining close contact with both internal and external stakeholders. You will manage intercompany transactions and support group reporting work, although the role does not involve advanced group accounting. You will become a key contact for the business, collaborating daily with payroll, business controlling, and financial controlling. Some accounts payable-related tasks may be included. You will work in Fortnox, where system proficiency is a requirement. Key Responsibilities: • Manage accounting for 3-5 legal entities • Perform monthly closing and reconciliations • Handle intercompany flows • Ensure reporting according to K3 (potentially K2) • Work in Fortnox and contribute to process and routine improvements About You We are seeking someone with several years of accounting experience who is comfortable with the entire workflow through to closing. You have experience working with multiple legal entities and enjoy a role that combines independent responsibility with close collaboration. Service company experience is not required, but a good understanding of intercompany and group structures is important. As a person, you are meticulous, stable, and solution-oriented. You appreciate order, structure, and clear processes, and you are confident communicating with both finance and operations. Fortnox experience is mandatory.
