Your Role We are seeking section managers for our two new sections Naval Applications & Services and Naval Digital Platforms, which are part of the new Naval Digital Solutions area within Submarine Design at Saab Kockums. Section Manager for Naval Applications & Services As section manager for our Naval Applications & Services team, you will have a key role in shaping and leading the technical development of our software products for marine applications. The team is responsible for developing applications and services used onboard submarines, surface combatants, and autonomous units, contributing to creating superior functionality, high security, and efficient operation in some of the world's most demanding environments. You will have overall responsibility for developing our products to the highest standards of quality, security, and performance, while ensuring that technical solutions meet both customer needs and future market requirements. This is a strategic and operational leadership role where your technical understanding, holistic perspective, and ability to inspire your team will be crucial to our success. Together, you will create innovative, reliable, and future-proof solutions that make a real difference for our customers - both above and below the surface. Section Manager for Naval Digital Platforms As manager of the Naval Digital Platforms section, you will lead a team working to develop the digital platforms that form the basis for deploying and running our advanced software systems onboard marine platforms - such as submarines, surface combatants, and autonomous units. The team's mission is to ensure that these platforms offer the security, scalability, and robustness required for our marine systems to function reliably in some of the world's most demanding environments. In this role, you will be responsible for developing both Core Platform (IT) and OT Platform (Operational Technology) - two central areas that together constitute the technical foundation of Saab's marine digital ecosystem. This is a strategic and operational leadership role where your technical understanding, holistic perspective, and ability to inspire your team will be crucial to our success.
