The Riksdag Administration is an agency tasked with facilitating the work of the Riksdag. Over 700 non-partisan employees work at the Riksdag Administration with many different types of tasks. The Riksdag Administration owns and manages the Riksdag buildings.
One of the Riksdag Administration's priorities is to renovate the buildings over the next 15-30 years to adapt them to a contemporary and future-oriented workplace. The work will take into account requirements for high security, cultural-historical values, environment, and accessibility.

The Property Projects unit is responsible for the Riksdag's comprehensive property project portfolio, project management of Riksdag property projects, development of Riksdag properties, and property acquisitions. The work is performed in collaboration with the entire property operations and in close cooperation with other activities in the Riksdag Administration.
