About this role

**Unit's Mission** The Employment Service Personal Distance Meeting is available in 17 locations across the country. We have a national mission to provide job seekers and employers with uniform, efficient, and qualified employment service. This is achieved through e-services and personal service, primarily offered via phone, email, video calls, and social media. We strive for an increasing number of clients to receive their service through online and telephone channels. Our goal is to provide the right service, at the right time, and through the right channel. The Stockholm unit is located in Globen and has approximately 160 employees. The leadership consists of 10 section managers, 2 operational coordinators, and an administrator. We handle both employer and job seeker assignments. **Responsibilities of the Section Manager** Your role as a section manager entails operational and personnel responsibility. You are accountable for ensuring that the section's results meet established goals and expectations. As a section manager, you have an important role in creating well-functioning work groups and collaborating with your employees to drive and develop the operation. You facilitate good performance, high job satisfaction, and a positive work environment by working in accordance with the Employment Service's managerial criteria. You foster a culture characterized by trust, openness, and security. Your work is conducted in strong partnership both within and outside your section and in good collaboration with trade union representatives. You are part of the unit manager's management team and, together with them and the other section managers, you will be responsible for the overall results and development of the entire unit. As a section manager, you are a role model in embodying the Employment Service's vision, values, and approach to employee and managerial roles. **Our Offer** The position is a permanent full-time employment that may begin with a six-month probationary period. Through our work, we contribute to an inclusive and sustainable society, giving you the chance to make a real difference for individuals and for society as a whole. **Basic Requirements for the Position** **Mandatory Requirements** - Current experience in a leadership role (coherent assignments, projects, work groups) of at least 6 months within the Employment Service's operations. Or: - Completed the Employment Service's preparatory management program. Or: - Current experience in a managerial role at a corresponding level with operational and personnel responsibility from another organization for at least 1 year. **Additional Qualifications for the Position** - Experience in a leadership role within contact center operations. - Experience working in a process-driven organization. - Experience serving on a management team with shared responsibility for results and development. - Good knowledge of the labor market policy assignment.
