Section Manager for Embedded SW/FW Development

Your Role As a member of our management team, you will lead the operations of your section and contribute to the department's goals and strategies. It is important that you are able and willing to coach and lead your staff so that they have the right conditions to develop and succeed in their commitments. Together with the other members of the management team, you will participate in defining and achieving the department's common goals. Today, we are a management team with experienced and supportive colleagues who help each other in daily work, and it is important that it remains this way. Together, we will work towards our vision of implementing more efficient ways of working and actively driving the organization forward in line with Saab's strategies and overall goals. In our growing business, we need to develop both products within embedded SW development and working methods, where CI/DevOps and testing tools are important components. The team currently consists of about 15 employees. How do you want to contribute? Your Profile It is important that you have the ability and interest to develop and empower your employees. As a manager, you need to possess communicative leadership qualities to create engagement and energy. As a manager at Saab, you will develop, among other things, with the help of your colleagues and in our development programs designed for leaders. We believe that you have the best conditions for success if you have some form of engineering education and have knowledge and interest in one or more of the areas below: * Tools and development environments for Embedded SW and/or FW * Experience with Agile development methodology * Complex software development * CI/DevOps * Test automation and various testing frameworks The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection.
