About this role
Do you want to work together with colleagues and fellow managers on evidence-based, patient-centered care and developing healthcare processes and workflows? Do you have experience in management or leadership and an interest in intensive care and surgical healthcare? Welcome to Anopiva as a Section Chief!
Our Offering
Anopiva (anesthesia, surgery, and intensive care) is the largest clinic at Linköping University Hospital and in the Östergötland Region.
The clinic is organized into three sections – intensive care section, operation north, operation south – and the sterile technology unit, with a total of over 500 employees.
The intensive care section includes intensive care (Civa), post-operative care (Postop), and intermediate care (Cima) departments. Civa provides care for patients of all ages with life-threatening conditions. The department has ten care beds and provides highly specialized intensive care in newly renovated facilities adapted for future needs. Cima cares for patients with increased care needs, but not intensive care, such as after intensive care, major surgery, or minor trauma. The department has six care beds in modern facilities close to Civa. Postop receives both children and adults directly after surgery – from simple day surgery to more advanced procedures. The department has 24 care beds.
The operation is technology-intensive and personnel-intensive, conducted in close collaboration between professions and disciplines. Anopiva is a university healthcare unit where education and research hold a central position, and the patient safety culture is strong in the clinic.
All work at Anopiva is based on the foundations of patient focus, medical quality/patient safety, research/education, and employee engagement. Anopiva is characterized by a shared value system; employees show respect for patients and each other, take responsibility, and promote good cooperation.
With us, you will:
Strengthen your ability to lead, drive, and develop intensive care through interprofessional and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Expand your network within management and leadership.
Develop both operational and tactical/strategic aspects of your management and leadership, supported by HR and financial functions.
Shape the future of intensive care and surgical healthcare together with employees, fellow managers, and representatives from other operations.
