Your Role
We are now seeking a manager who wants to lead and develop our production engineering area in a dynamic environment with full focus on growth and delivery. Production Engineering within Underwater Systems is responsible for developing and delivering production engineering solutions used in Saab Kockums' operations in Tannefors and Motala.
We are on an exciting growth journey where we work extensively to optimize existing flows while developing new technical solutions and methods. Beyond this, we also ensure that ongoing production has all the technical prerequisites to enable the best quality, best delivery capability at the lowest cost.
In our ongoing change journey, you will have a significant mandate and excellent opportunities to shape the organization, its working methods, and processes. You will have the support of a group of knowledgeable and committed employees. Recruitment of the area manager is ongoing simultaneously.
In your role as section manager, you will be responsible for leading and coaching approximately 15 employees in one of the sections within production engineering. You will be a key person in creating and driving an effective team, where coordination between different units and work areas is crucial to achieving the company's goals. By motivating, supporting, and developing your employees, you will ensure that the entire organization works towards common results and continuous improvement.

To succeed in the role, we expect you to have leadership experience. You should have strong technical competence that helps you understand and manage complex production and business processes. At the same time, you are a skilled communicator, both internally and externally, with the ability to clearly convey goals, visions, and strategies in a way that engages and creates participation.
We believe you have a technical background, preferably in production or engineering fields, but even more important are your personal qualities. You will approach the role with an open and inclusive leadership style, actively encouraging dialogue and collaboration.
Language skills in both Swedish and English are necessary to ensure clear and effective communication, which helps us maintain high quality and efficiency in our processes.
Travel between our locations in Östergötland will occur, which means you need to be flexible and prepared to travel to meet colleagues, partners, and customers in different locations. These travels will be a natural part of your work to ensure that the entire organization works towards the same goals and that collaboration between different business areas runs smoothly.
