About the position As the section manager for service development, you will be responsible for a section that currently consists of three units. You will lead the section's operations, report to the department manager, and be part of the department's management team. The role of section manager is being introduced due to our growth, providing you with the opportunity to influence how the new management layer will develop. The job involves many contact points, and you will network both internally and externally to drive the operations forward. You play a central role in our socially important activities where we offer digital solutions for health, providing healthcare employees with better conditions and increasing patient safety. About the section The section for service development is responsible for developing and managing digital services within the department's area of responsibility. The section gathers competencies in service development and product management, working closely with both users and technical teams to ensure that the services meet real needs. The section is part of the Health, Care, and Welfare department, which works to enable digital solutions that strengthen healthcare, social services, and dental care. We contribute to the Swedish eHealth Agency's mission to drive the development of the national digital infrastructure. We are looking for someone who is confident and clear in their leadership. You are collaborative and build relationships with our external partners as well as at all levels of the organization. You lead through change and come up with ideas on how the operations and individuals can develop. In your change management, you are strategic and take a holistic perspective. It is natural for you to take responsibility for both your own work and the decisions made. We are looking for someone who has: • An academic degree in a relevant field (at least 180 credits or 120 points according to the previous system) • At least 5 years of current experience in management with responsibility for operations, personnel, and budget • Current experience in leading other managers • Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. It is advantageous for the position if you have: • Current experience in leading technical development work within health, care, and welfare or similar fields • Current experience in strategic development work within complex organizations • Current experience with agile working methods • Current experience in management within the public sector.
