Your Role
We are currently seeking a section manager for one of our sections within Electronics Engineering. In the field of Electronics Engineering, we work with a wide range of electronics, including the development of circuit boards, cabling, test equipment, etc.

The section you will lead is responsible for product development within the exciting missile projects conducted in Linköping. Your team’s work consists of new development, production support, and product maintenance.
As a section manager, you will also be an important part of the management team for Electronics Engineering within Saab Dynamics' business unit Missile Systems and represent the area in discussions with our development projects, production, steering groups, and other stakeholders.
In addition to providing support and acting as a coach for your team members, a significant part of your responsibility will revolve around growth and fostering team development. Your skills in recruitment and networking will be essential tools for us to continue our growth.
Your main responsibilities:

* Ensure that your team members have the right focus, skills, and conditions to deliver on our commitments
* Contribute to expanding the section with new team members and achieving balanced staffing
* Take responsibility for and have good insight into the section's deliveries
* Drive the electronics section in collaboration with other electronics sections within Saab Dynamics Missile Systems
* Lead by example and coach the section's employees to develop
* Break down and follow up on the area’s operational plan
* Be responsible for resource allocation in our projects through planning and ongoing communication with project managers
* Participate in continuous improvements within the area’s processes, methods & tools

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
* An engineering degree or equivalent technical education
* Experience and knowledge in product development and/or electronics development
* Leadership experience, preferably from a previous managerial role
* Strong communication skills
Travel is required for this position, and a valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.
