Your Role We are now seeking an engaged and business-driven manager for the Project Management & Quality section within our Procurement department at Saab Underwater Systems. In this role, you will lead two teams: Project Management and Procurement Quality. As section manager, you will report directly to the Head of Procurement at Saab Underwater Systems and have an active and strategic role in the company's business, where your insight and understanding of our priorities are crucial. You will collaborate closely with management to ensure that the section's work aligns with the company's overall goals and strategies, and contribute to the long-term development of our Procurement department. A key part of your work will be to take responsibility for the operational management of the section, creating conditions for your employees to achieve their goals and develop in their roles. Your focus will be on creating a work environment where employees can grow and work towards both their individual goals and the company's collective success. You will represent Procurement in various forums, such as daily management, project meetings, and steering committees, where you will contribute your expertise and drive issues related to quality work. You will become part of the Procurement organization in the Underwater Systems business unit at Kockums, which designs, develops, and builds the world's most impressive unmanned underwater systems. Always with the goal of protecting people, society (and seas). With a product portfolio ranging from state-of-the-art torpedoes and military and commercial ROVs to autonomous vehicles (and more), we are a leading player in the field. Your Profile We are seeking someone who is a confident and inspiring leader with experience in procurement, project management, and quality work - preferably from larger industrial organizations. You are motivated by creating structure, setting goals, and contributing to people's growth. To succeed in the role, we believe you have: * Background in procurement, project management, or related area. * Experience in strategic/operational procurement, preferably in an international environment. * Experience in quality work, preferably combined with procurement or supplier development. * Understanding of quality assurance and familiarity with relevant tools such as root cause analysis, capability, risk analysis, 8D, and measurement system analysis. * Documented experience in leadership and personnel management. * Academic degree in business, engineering, or quality management, or equivalent experience. * Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. As a communicative and business-driven person, you also have the ability to operate within cross-functional networks at Saab and contribute to the whole. The ability to create and implement strategies is something you master.
