We are now seeking an engaged and development-oriented Section Manager for the Shared Functions Unit.
The Company Department has comprehensive responsibility for processes and services that support entrepreneurs, from starting a business to updating information and managing changes throughout the company's lifecycle.
The Shared Functions Unit consists of two sections with employees led by a section manager. The unit works to simplify and deliver high-quality service and is responsible for the Swedish Companies Registration Office's general case processing, incoming and outgoing mail handling and case registration, the registrar function, archive function, and customer service.
The current section is responsible for incoming and outgoing mail, scanning and case registration, as well as processing certain case types within the department. The section currently has 21 employees.
As Section Manager, you have overall responsibility for both operations and personnel within the section. You are responsible for the section's production, competence, and quality, as well as your employees' work environment. You lead and develop the section's work with a focus on production, skills provision, quality, and a good work environment through a present and coaching leadership style. You maintain close dialogue with your employees, collaboratively driving the development of methods and working approaches to increase efficiency and strengthen the operation. Together, you create an efficient and high-quality operation characterized by good service and high customer satisfaction.
You will be part of the unit's management team, which consists of another section manager, customer service coordinator, business analyst, and business developer. As a management team member, you will contribute to development within the unit's areas of operation.
As our new Section Manager, you will among other things:
• Represent the agency as an employer and ensure that the assignment is performed in accordance with guidance from parliament and government, as well as internally decided governance
• Have operational and personnel responsibility for the section's employees
• With a present leadership style, plan, follow up, and communicate the assignment to achieve desired results
• Lead, coach, and motivate employees
• Actively work to create a good work environment
• Drive development with a focus on continuous improvements
• Actively contribute to the unit management reaching its goals and delivering according to the assignment
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
• Completed high school education
• At least 3 years of experience as a manager with personnel responsibility in the last five years
• Current and relevant experience of working as a manager in a production-intensive operation
• Very good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in Swedish and good understanding of English
It is meritorious if you have leadership training that the employer considers relevant for the position, such as coaching training.
