Section Manager for Systems Engineering & Verification

We are looking for an experienced and driven Section Manager for Systems Engineering and Verification in Karlskoga to lead our team through all development phases and management. Your Role At BU Missiles within Saab Dynamics, you will have the opportunity to work in a part of Saab that feels like a small company within a large organization, which means a breadth of technology and interfaces that may be somewhat beyond the ordinary. You will belong to the Systems Engineering and Verification area in Karlskoga and Karlstad. This area is responsible for overarching system work, system safety, ILS, technical publications, and verification of missile products. As a Section Manager with us, you will be part of the Systems Engineering Management department, leading one of our system sections in Karlskoga. We work from concept analysis and requirement specification, into the design phase, and then ensure that the requirements are met through verification of the final product. A natural part of our work is also to continuously improve our processes and methods. As a Section Manager, you will be part of the area’s management team and have approximately 20 direct reports, including employees and consultants. We are currently in an expansive phase, which means you will have excellent opportunities to shape a growing team and its working methods during a time of change. Your work is characterized by collaboration and a belief that the team is stronger than the individual. We believe you have a technical education background and practical experience in Systems Engineering. Your technical background is complemented by leadership experience, preferably in some form of managerial role. The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations at the time.
