Job Responsibilities
The Facilities Unit consists of seven sections with primary responsibility for providing specialist support in technical areas including rock technology, hydrogeology, structures, geotechnics, and geodetic measurement techniques for our investment projects, ranging from smaller projects to our largest multi-billion projects. We hope you will become our new Section Manager for Facilities!
As Section Manager in the Facilities Unit, you will be a first-line manager with personnel and budget responsibility for approximately 13 employees located in Solna. In this leadership role, we seek a manager driven to create conditions for a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and creativity. You are motivated by developing and supporting employees through clear and coaching leadership.
You will report to the Unit Manager and be an important part of the unit's management team, where you will actively contribute to achieving the organization's goals and deliveries alongside six other section managers. As Section Manager, you will handle a wide range of operational and strategic issues. You will work in a matrix organization where the right person with the right skills contributes to our projects to create maximum societal benefit. This offers many developmental collaborative opportunities with projects and programs.

We are seeking candidates who have:
• Civil engineering degree in civil engineering, urban development technology, or another equivalent education based on current and relevant experience
• Current management experience involving personnel responsibility
• Good Swedish language skills in speech and writing
• Valid driver's license for passenger vehicles
Additional merits include:
• Several years of work experience in one or more of the unit's technical areas (rock technology, hydrogeology, structures, geotechnics, and geodetic measurement techniques)
Other Information
• The position is permanent, with an initial management appointment of 4 years
• Possibility to work partially from home up to 40% of work time
• Web-based tests will be used in the selection process
• Digital interviews planned for week 50
