Scrum Master and Release Train Engineer

Role Description We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master and Release Train Engineer who coaches agile teams and coordinates work within an Agile Release Train (ART). The assignment involves facilitating ceremonies, removing obstacles, managing dependencies between teams, and tracking goals, risks, and quality. You will drive continuous improvements and strengthen transparency, learning, and collaboration in the delivery organization. Responsibilities • Plan and lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and PI planning. • Coach teams, product owners, and key roles in agile methods and values. • Coordinate dependencies between multiple teams and support flow from idea to delivery. • Identify and remove obstacles, and track risks, quality, and delivery goals. • Ensure artifacts, metrics, and visibility for backlogs, roadmaps, and PI goals. • Collaborate closely with product management, architecture, and business representatives. • Initiate and drive improvement initiatives at team and train levels. Requirements • Very good understanding of agile working methods and practical Scrum experience. • At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or team coach in large organizations. • At least 1 year of experience as an RTE within SAFe, or equivalent multi-team coordination role. • Documented experience in planning, leading, and executing PI planning. • Valid SAFe certification, at least Scrum Master; preferably complemented with RTE or SPC certificate. • Experience in close collaboration with product owners, development teams, and architects. • Excellent communication skills in Swedish, both verbal and written. Beneficial • Experience from public administration or healthcare-related IT environments. • Experience with teams developing mobile applications or web services.
