We need to strengthen the team working with scope management and portfolio management issues within the Gripen business unit. The role is a crucial part of realizing the central Project Management Office (PMO) function. In this role, you will maintain and find improvements regarding work methods for how we successfully manage our business and projects. If needed and of interest, this may also include training other departments on different work methods and the requirements and expectations related to scope and portfolio management and our process applications. You will belong to the Scope and Portfolio Management Team within the Project Execution and Support section of the Gripen business unit. This section has overall responsibility for how project activities are conducted across the entire business unit, as it is a significant part of our central PMO function. The section is also responsible for process applications - both for how we manage our contracted work and how we drive projects within the Gripen business unit. The Scope and Portfolio Management team is responsible for driving several decision forums regarding calculations, projects, resources, and workload. Your Profile We are seeking someone with extensive experience working with projects and/or contracts and good knowledge of relevant processes and methods in the field. Previous experience and knowledge related to Saab's business and project setup, especially concerning Gripen work, is highly meritorious. As a person, you are analytical, meticulous, and structured. You consider it important to constantly strive to develop work methods and want to facilitate the organization in which you and your team operate, thereby contributing to improvements in the company's efficiency and profitability. Preferably, you have experience in leadership positions and enjoy collaborating with others. Since the role involves close collaboration with a large network within and outside the business area, you also need to possess well-developed communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in Swedish and English. The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security protection regulations.
