About this role

State Council for Medical and Social Evaluation (SBU) is a knowledge agency under the Ministry of Social Affairs tasked with conducting scientific evaluations of methods in healthcare, including dental care. SBU also has a mandate to perform scientific evaluations of social services and interventions supported by the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). At SBU, collaboration is the foundation for a positive work environment and the core of daily operations and product quality. The agency has approximately 100 employees. We are now seeking employees for the Information Service Unit. SBU's Information Service has existed since 2008 and compiles scientifically-based decision support for authorities and decision-makers in healthcare and social services. Unit Description The unit consists of 13 employees and is positioned under the Department of Scientific Methodology Support, which is led by a department head. Daily operations are managed by the unit manager. Work Tasks Include • Defining and delimiting issues in collaboration with SBU Information Service inquirers • Systematically searching for relevant scientific literature • Reviewing and evaluating scientific documentation • Developing the organization in cooperation with other colleagues You will work daily with unit colleagues and collaborate with other positions within the agency. Qualifications • Academic degree in a relevant area for SBU, such as healthcare, social work, natural sciences, or behavioral sciences • Good computer skills, especially in Office 365 • Work experience interpreting and compiling scientific literature • Excellent Swedish and English skills, both verbal and written Meritorious • Experience with EndNote • Familiarity with SBU's methodology • Experience creating systematic reviews • Practical experience conducting structured literature searches Personal Characteristics You are meticulous, structured, and possess strong analytical and stylistic abilities.
