About this role
We are looking for individuals who want to work with people affected by domestic violence, honor-related violence and oppression, as well as individuals looking to leave criminal environments. Sandhem Gruppen AB offers sheltered housing to individuals affected by domestic violence (DV), honor-related violence and oppression (HRVO), and other forms of threats and/or violence.
We are now seeking someone who is highly committed and preferably knowledgeable about domestic violence and/or honor-related violence and oppression, and who wants to work directly with our clients.

As we grow, we are looking for more hourly employees who want to work closely with our clients and contribute to their development and safety.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a degree in social work or social pedagogy, or ongoing relevant education.
- Has experience in social work, preferably with individuals affected by violence.
- Is independent, responsible, and has a strong work ethic.
- Can contribute a calm and low-arousal interaction with clients.
- Has personal maturity and interest in participating in and contributing to the organization’s structure and methods.
We would like you to be able to work at least 8 hours per week. The work is scheduled during daytime and includes on-call availability.
Job Responsibilities
As an employee with us, you will meet with clients one or more times a week to support them in achieving their goals based on their action plans. Responsibilities may include:
- Conducting support conversations and motivational talks.
- Assisting clients with practical matters such as employment, finances, and daily structure.
- Helping to secure employment, develop budgets, accompany clients to the bank, and similar tasks.
- Contributing to safety and continuity for clients in often stressful life situations.

Working hours: Daytime and evening hours, as well as weekends, with on-call duty according to schedule.

Post-secondary education, at least two years, in social work and care, or ongoing education in these fields.
Driver's license (B)
During the interview, we will request an extract from the police criminal record. Please order this well in advance of the interview.
