Your Responsibilities
As a coordinator at Kärna Care Home, you will be the manager's right-hand person and a key player in the operation. You will work closely with nursing assistants, nurses, rehabilitation staff, and managers to ensure residents receive the right support and care.
Your mission involves planning, coordinating, and following up on tasks related to operations, personnel, and finances. You will ensure that routines are followed and that users receive the services they need. You will participate in resident admissions and departures, maintain contact with relatives and external partners, and introduce new employees. Administrative tasks such as registering information in digital systems like Welfare and Beata, managing keys and tags, and following up on orders and finances are also part of your daily routine.
As a coordinator, you will participate in the local management group and have the opportunity to influence working methods, routines, and operational development. The role involves both responsibility and the freedom to make independent decisions within the scope of the assignment.
The position is a primary employment as a nursing assistant with a one-year coordinator appointment, with the possibility of extension.
Your Workplace
Kärna Care Home is located in a scenic environment in the Malmslätt district. The facility consists of three departments with a total of 29 care beds focused on nursing home care. The operation is primarily oriented towards somatic care, but we also have residents with cognitive needs.

The coordinator role is a key position for us. We are seeking someone driven by creating order and structure who enjoys taking on new challenges. You should enjoy leading and engaging groups, have the ability to conduct effective meetings, and actively contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment. You will have close collaboration with the operations manager and will be a central part of working to achieve the operation's goals. Through frequent check-ins, you will together ensure that daily work is followed up and feedback is provided efficiently.
Working hours are Monday-Friday during daytime, with the possibility of a flexible time agreement.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a qualified nursing assistant, and we prefer candidates who have taken courses in administration. You should have at least two years of experience working in elderly care, and previous experience as a coordinator or in a similar role is merit.
The position requires good computer skills and excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Knowledge of the operational systems Timepool and Heroma is advantageous.
In the coordinator role, you must be able to collaborate closely with colleagues, lead and motivate staff, and be the manager's right-hand person in daily decisions. You should be service-oriented, confident in interactions with users and relatives, and able to stand by your decisions. Flexibility and the ability to handle changes are crucial, as tasks and situations often change quickly.
