Your Responsibilities
As a coordinator at Ekbacken Care Home, you will be the right hand of the manager and a central figure in the operation. You will work closely with staff, nurses, and managers to ensure that the residents receive the right support and care.
Your role involves planning, coordinating, and following up on tasks related to operations, personnel, and finances. You will ensure that routines are followed and that users receive the services they need, participate in move-ins and move-outs, maintain contact with relatives and external partners, and introduce new employees. Administrative tasks, such as registering information in digital systems like Welfare and Beata, managing keys and access cards, and following up on orders and finances, are also part of your daily routine.
As a coordinator, you will participate in the local management team and have the opportunity to influence working methods, routines, and the development of the operation. The role entails both responsibility and the freedom to make independent decisions within the framework of the assignment. The position is a permanent employment as a nursing assistant with a one-year appointment as a coordinator, with the possibility of extension.
Your Workplace
Ekbacken Care Home is situated in a picturesque environment with forests and green spaces surrounding it. The facility consists of three buildings with a total of 56 places and approximately 60 employees plus temporary staff. The operation primarily focuses on somatic care, but we also accommodate residents with cognitive needs.
The workday is varied and stimulating. You will move between different buildings and departments and collaborate with several professional groups. Your contribution will be clearly visible in the operation, and you will have the opportunity to participate in the development of routines, working methods, and digital systems.
Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday during the day, with the possibility of flexible working arrangements.
Who You Are
We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, and we prefer that you have taken courses in administration. You have at least two years of experience working in elderly care, and it is advantageous if you have previously worked as a coordinator or in a similar role.
For the position, you need to have good computer skills and strong proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is a plus if you have knowledge of the operational systems Timepool and Heroma.
In the role of coordinator, you need to be able to collaborate closely with colleagues, lead and motivate staff, and be the manager's right hand in everyday decisions. You are service-oriented, confident in interactions with users and relatives, and able to stand by your decisions. Flexibility and the ability to handle changes are crucial, as tasks and situations often change rapidly. You also need to be self-sufficient and capable of structuring your own approaches.
