About this role
Since the 1980s, Sunet has provided IT services and data communication to Sweden's universities, colleges, and research infrastructures. As an employee in Sunet's department at the Swedish Research Council, you are part of a global network of experts working to support research and the development of internet and digital infrastructure worldwide. We are now looking for a part-time coordinator (75%) for a duration of 6 months.
**Role Description and Responsibilities**
As a coordinator in the Sunet department and associated services, you will work strategically and coordinate the department's processes and methods. In your role, you will help the organization become more efficient in achieving its goals and delivering the best possible results. The role involves a diverse range of tasks including problem-solving, project management, communication, creativity, and analytical thinking. You will collaborate with various parts of the organization and will have numerous internal and external contacts.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, managing and supporting the following areas:
- Coordination and follow-up of existing processes and methods as tools
- Work on the implementation of new and modified routines, processes, and methods, as well as management and support in the use of existing ones
- Contributing to needs-driven development of new/modified working methods within the department
- Development of overarching processes such as IT processes, business information, activity planning, and EU projects within Sunet
**Who Are You?**
To fit well in this role, you need to have strong organizational skills. You can plan both long-term and short-term and have the ability to prioritize among these tasks. You should possess analytical skills and think strategically, as well as be flexible and creative in finding the right methods and solutions for various situations. It is important that you have good collaboration skills and can work both independently and in a team. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
You should have:
- An academic degree in a relevant field
- Current and solid experience in a similar role within public administration
- Recent experience in project and management leadership
- Digital proficiency and good knowledge of Office software
- Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is advantageous if you have:
- Experience working according to the management model pm3
- Strategic work in collaboration with management levels
- Experience working within Swedish higher education.
**Location**
Our office is located at Tulegatan 11 in central Stockholm. If the tasks allow, there is an opportunity to work remotely part-time.
**Employment Type and Start Date**
We offer a fixed-term part-time employment (SÄVA) at 75% for 6 months, until June 30, 2026. We would like you to start as soon as possible, considering any notice period.
