About this role
Research, Education and Innovation Unit (REI) has a mission to support employees and operations within Region Norrbotten in fulfilling their assignments, as well as being responsible for strategic development in research, innovation, and education.
Within the education area, we are responsible for coordinating and developing physician training programs (AT/BT/ST), medical education at Sunderby Hospital via Umeå University, clinical placements in various healthcare professions, Clinical Base Year for newly employed nurses, the region's e-learning function, and clinical training center (CTC).
We Are Seeking You Who Have:
A healthcare or healthcare administrative education, or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer. Experience working in healthcare and understanding of healthcare organization structure is meritorious, as are skills in Region Norrbotten's administrative systems. Knowledge of the national education system and/or previous experience administering courses and training programs is also advantageous.

Your Work Will Involve:
As an education coordinator, your primary tasks will include coordinating and administering mandatory training for the region's specialist physician trainees. This involves numerous internal and external contacts, including the region's overall specialist training director and other specialist training directors. You will provide administrative support to the regional specialist training director, handle clinical placement arrangements for higher education healthcare programs, and manage placements for vocational college students in healthcare sectors.
The work involves regular contact with healthcare unit managers, operational managers, and representatives from university and high school healthcare education programs. You will also provide administrative support for the medical education program conducted by Umeå University at Sunderby Hospital.
You will be proactive in the department's internal and external development work, contributing a holistic perspective relative to the department's other assignments.
