About this role

Do you want to be part of developing healthcare for patients with dementia? Then we have the job for you! We are looking for someone who is educated in health and medical care, a licensed nurse or nursing assistant with specialist training in elderly care. Previous experience in clinical work with patient groups in relevant areas or experience in improvement and change processes is advantageous. We place great emphasis on personal qualities; you are self-driven and development-oriented, take responsibility, structure your approach, and drive processes forward. You have a holistic view of the work and consider the broader perspective. You also have good collaboration skills and appreciate the benefits of working with others. Your responsibilities will include: • Developing a dementia strategy and establishing a region-wide action plan. • Promoting good collaboration with the region's municipalities regarding patients with suspected or diagnosed dementia and their relatives. • Developing and implementing region-wide methods for dementia care and support for relatives based on existing knowledge support, such as the care paths of the knowledge governance. • Creating collaboration between various stakeholders within and outside of Region Norrbotten to achieve better preventive measures, care, and support for individuals with suspected or diagnosed dementia and their relatives. • Providing training and other knowledge-enhancing initiatives within Region Norrbotten and, if necessary, to other stakeholders. • Establishing networks for employees to stimulate collaboration and knowledge exchange. Working hours are Monday to Friday, weekend work may be included for clinical duties. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
