A significant part of your mission will take place within the framework of the Uppsala Comprehensive Cancer Centre (UCCC), where cancer care at Uppsala Academic Hospital is centralized.
The role of SVF Coordinator at Uppsala Academic Hospital entails that you:
• Contribute to the development of standardized care pathways, both at Uppsala Academic Hospital and in collaboration with others within Region Uppsala. This work is carried out in close cooperation with staff in the operations, cancer coordinators, support functions, and other colleagues in the Unit for Care Process Support.
• Collaborate with clinical process leaders, contact nurses, and coordinators to create value for patients by ensuring that the pathways are based on best practices and that the goals for accessibility, investigation, and treatment are achieved.
• Be responsible for the introduction, training, and networking for SVF coordinators, whose task is to ensure the registration of data related to the various cancer pathways.
• Analyze SVF data and actions together with clinical process leaders, contact nurses, and coordinators.
• Prepare plans and reports for the Regional Cancer Centre and coordinate projects initiated within Region Uppsala that concern standardized care pathways.
• Be part of the operational team linked to the Uppsala Cancer Care Centre (UCCC), where the team is responsible for implementing decisions aimed at developing and improving cancer care.
The content of the mission is continuously evolving, providing you with excellent opportunities to grow in the role.
Your Qualifications
We primarily seek a licensed nurse. Other relevant higher education within the healthcare field may also be considered depending on additional qualifications.
You have a good understanding of change and improvement management, as well as experience working in a process-oriented manner and driving improvement work in practice. Experience with data analysis and work within cancer care is an advantage.
Your Competence
We place great emphasis on personal qualities, where the ability to communicate well and a flexible working style are crucial for the role. You are genuinely interested in cancer care, quality development, and improvement work, and you are motivated by working collaboratively with others. You work methodically and have the ability to prioritize while seeing the bigger picture. You have a pedagogical approach and good collaboration skills.
