About this role
**About the Role and Your Responsibilities**
The Culture and Leisure Committee has been responsible for coordinating association matters since 2023, which has evolved to include the coordination of the municipality's collaboration with civil society and the majority of the municipality's grants to associations.
Together with civil society, several development opportunities have been identified to improve the municipality's support and infrastructure for civil society.

You will act as a sounding board and guide within the municipal organization to identify areas for collaboration, potential partners, and forms of collaboration, as well as explore opportunities for seeking external funding.
You are also responsible for ensuring continuous dialogue with civil society actors, including managing the municipality's meeting forum between civil society and the municipality, MICK (Meeting Place Ideas Civil Society Municipality), as well as the internal coordination of collaboration with civil society.
Based on your role and the points of contact you will have, you will contribute to current projects where collaboration with civil society is a key component and initiate new opportunities and forms for dialogue.
You will also work to develop the conditions for civil society in Lund Municipality, including managing and developing monetary support for organizations that work for equal rights and opportunities.
Your work will include continuous monitoring of the external environment, investigative work, and representing the municipality in forums within your area of responsibility.

**About the Workplace**
The Development Department works with coordination, development, and support in matters concerning, among other things, the committee, ecological and social sustainability, digitization, and security. The Development Department's mandate includes driving development processes and projects as well as coordinating ongoing work with planning conditions, goals, and follow-up/evaluation.
The Culture and Leisure Administration's approximately 370 employees work to create opportunities for everyone in Lund Municipality to engage in activities, experience, express themselves, develop, and socialize. This has intrinsic value while also creating added value such as quality of life, education, community, security, and a democratic society. Lund Municipality's cultural and leisure life should be characterized by participation, influence, and co-creation. It should be accessible to all, regardless of background and circumstances, and be sustainably long-term, meaning it meets today's needs without compromising future generations' ability to meet their own.
