Resource Center Against Honor-Related Violence and Oppression - Älvsborg is organized under Barnahus Älvsborg. Resource Center Älvsborg is a joint resource center for municipalities and authorities that works to ensure that children and adults who are or are at risk of being subjected to honor-related violence and oppression receive specialized support and tailored advice. The establishment of regional joint resource centers against honor-related violence and oppression is a national initiative initiated by the government. The purpose of this initiative is to ensure that the vulnerable target group has equal access to support regardless of where they live in Sweden. Resource Center Älvsborg is a collaboration between the municipalities in Sjuhäradsbygden, the Västra Götaland Region, the Police Authority, and the Prosecution Authority. Resource Center Älvsborg operates as a low-threshold service and serves as a complement to regular protection and support structures. The center offers individuals in need of more extensive support direct contact with the appropriate authority in their respective municipality. The center also provides advice, consultation, and professional development for practitioners. The operation consists of a project leader working at 50%, who, together with the position we are currently seeking for a coordinator/project leader, will drive the work forward. The position is organized under Barnahus Älvsborg, where there are also three colleagues who can assist with certain tasks. Coordinator for the Resource Center Against Honor-Related Violence and Oppression Job Responsibilities As a coordinator, you will work both strategically and operationally within the organization. Part of your role involves project management tasks where you are responsible for leading and driving the development of the operation in collaboration with partners. You will work to implement the national guidelines for regional resource centers while developing a locally adapted operation together with partners. You will participate in collaboration networks at the national, regional, and local levels. You will ensure that the work is quality assured, compile reports, and prepare decision-making materials. You will also work operationally by meeting individuals who may be, or are at risk of being, subjected to honor-related violence and oppression. This may involve support conversations, consultations, or other practical assistance. Another aspect of the role is to provide consultative support to other professionals, including guidance and advice on issues related to honor-related violence and oppression. You will work to enhance knowledge within the catchment area and promote collaboration between municipalities, healthcare, the Prosecution Authority, and the Police Authority. An important part of the work is to prevent and raise awareness of honor-related violence and oppression. Qualifications You who are applying should have a degree in social work or another relevant academic qualification that the employer deems equivalent. You should have training and in-depth formal competence regarding honor-related violence and oppression. Furthermore, you have practical experience in meeting and working with the target group. We expect you to have experience working on projects and possess skills in project management and process leadership. You can lead and drive processes both independently and in collaboration with others. You also have experience collaborating with stakeholders such as municipalities, healthcare, and police, as well as a good knowledge of the region. We are looking for someone who approaches their professional role from a rights perspective and shows respect and consideration for those they meet. You have the ability to convey information both verbally and in writing, and can adapt your communication to the audience, target group, and situation. You are skilled at building relationships and are outgoing in professional contexts, where you create and maintain relationships, and have the ability to listen and understand the conditions of various stakeholders. You are solution-oriented and unpretentious in your work. We see that our future colleague has a strong commitment, a curious approach, a professional demeanor, and personal maturity. It is an advantage if you have training in PATRIARK-V2 and experience in conducting structured risk assessments. A driver's license (B category) is required.
