Replacement Traffic Coordinator at SJ Stockholmståg
We at SJ Stockholmståg are seeking an engaged coordinator and traffic planner who wants to help ensure excellent replacement traffic for our passengers. As Replacement Traffic Coordinator at SJ Stockholmståg, you will play a central role in developing and optimizing production arrangements for commuter train traffic. This position is a parental leave replacement for approximately one year.
As Replacement Traffic Coordinator, you will be responsible for project managing and coordinating planned replacement traffic regarding planning, execution, and follow-up. Your work contributes to the company's financial results and delivery quality through planning an effective and safe production setup.
Your main tasks include:
• Coordinating and managing planned replacement traffic regarding planning, execution, and follow-up, and being the primary contact person internally and externally for replacement traffic issues.
• Developing solutions involving route planning and frequency, sending quote requests to subcontractors and proposals to Traffic Management, and ensuring solutions are communicated internally and in SL's travel planner.
• Production Layout Proposals: Actively participate in proposing production layouts and adaptations that contribute to the organization's overall goals.
• Implementation and Quality Assurance: Responsible for implementing and quality assuring decided production layouts and adaptations.
• Inform and Drive Dialogue: Inform relevant parties about changes in production layouts and adaptations, and manage dialogue with Traffic Administration regarding setups and changes.
• Supporting traffic planning in IVU during certain periods.
Expectations for the Ideal Candidate:
We seek someone with strong planning skills, preferably with experience in optimization planning platforms. We value good analytical ability and business understanding. You should thrive in a dynamic and social environment where you coordinate projects with multiple stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
• University degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in train, bus, aviation, maritime, or logistics industries.
• Strong business understanding and ability to manage complexity in technical and personnel aspects.
• Excellent system knowledge and ability to understand interconnected systems.
• Proficiency in Office suite is necessary for daily work.
• Analytical skills for handling large datasets and identifying relationships between factors.
• Previous traffic planning experience is advantageous.
