About this role

About the workplace Our operation is located in a picturesque area of northwestern Skåne. We welcome girls aged 15-21 who are placed under the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Special Provisions for the Care of Young People Act (LVU). At Åsbo, we offer individualized care for those girls who need a smaller setting and more comprehensive support. In collaboration with social services, we have the opportunity to tailor the approach to the specific youth. Our treatment work is based on evidence-based methods, where Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) play a central role. Your role As a coordinator, you will hold a leadership position at Åsbo HVB and lead a team working with a youth. You will also be part of the on-call group and therefore need to be available for managerial duties. You will primarily work individually with the youth to provide support and care in daily life. The goal is to establish a trusting relationship where the youth is willing and able to accept the support offered. You will be part of a team that collaboratively organizes the work around the youth, and our vision is that despite working independently, you should not feel alone. Your tasks will include practical duties such as support with activities of daily living (ADL), cooking, cleaning, medication management, community contacts, and transportation. An important aspect is to motivate the youth to develop their unique strengths and skills. You will also play a role in promoting an active and meaningful leisure time, which requires energy and the ability to inspire. The work involves documentation. Qualifications To be qualified for the position with us, a minimum of three years of university/college education and a degree such as a social worker or behavioral scientist is required. Experience with the target group is essential, as well as knowledge of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and understanding of Neuropsychiatric Disabilities (NPF). We expect you to be warm and empathetic, a team player with a positive view of people's ability to change. Furthermore, you should be patient, self-assured, and capable of handling conflicts constructively while maintaining calm in stressful situations. Proficiency in computer use and experience with documentation is important, which means you should have strong verbal and written communication skills. Other Start date in early February 2026. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Irregular working hours, primarily shift work distributed over both weekdays and weekends. Based on the target group and its needs, we welcome only female applicants for the position. We require a background check from the police's suspicion and conviction register prior to employment. A valid driver's license (B category) is a requirement. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, so do not hesitate to submit your application.
