About the Position In the role of coordinating nurse at Adolfsbergshemmet and Lindhultsgården, you will play a central role in preserving and further developing the quality of the operations. As a coordinating nurse, you will have an important responsibility not only for daily nursing tasks but also for coordinating and prioritizing the daily planning. Therefore, we are looking for someone who enjoys working in a structured manner and in close collaboration with colleagues and the unit manager. Examples of Responsibilities: • Decide, implement, and follow up on nursing measures • Be responsible for guidance and training in nursing • Instruct and delegate health and medical tasks to nursing staff • Maintain contact with and provide support to relatives • Document in various quality registers and operational systems • Participate in and drive continuous improvement and development of our operations Examples of Responsibilities in the Coordinating Role: • Coordinate and support prioritization and distribution of daily planning • Collaborate with the administration and management organization to be responsible for scheduling and staffing planning • Coordinate contacts with MAS, MAR, SAS, and other internal and external stakeholders • Plan and regularly follow up on systematic patient safety work according to an annual cycle • Monitor and clarify the goals and direction of the operations and work towards a common approach, such as reviewing work around guidelines, policies, and routines • Assess competency needs and coordinate training initiatives About the Workplace Adolfsbergshemmet and Lindhultsgården are two special accommodations for the elderly located in Adolfsberg, just outside Örebro city center. Both facilities are beautifully situated with proximity to nature, a health center, pharmacy, lunch service, and bus stop. Qualifications In the role of nurse, you need to be self-assured and have good self-awareness. You thrive in having your own areas of responsibility and take charge of your tasks in an independent and structured manner. As you are expected to drive development within the unit forward, you are someone who sees opportunities in change and solutions to the challenges you encounter. In your role as a coordinating nurse, you also have the ability to lead and motivate others. You communicate clearly and have the ability to ensure that information is conveyed effectively. You are proficient in the Swedish language to communicate with patients and other staff, as well as to document as required by the operations. Since the work involves digital documentation in operational systems, good computer skills are necessary. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
