About Us
The City of Solna owns two companies with essential community missions.
Solna Vatten AB is responsible for water and sewage operations in the municipality, providing residents with drinking water and managing wastewater in collaboration with Norrvatten and Käppalaförbundet. Råsunda Förstads AB manages the city's own properties, including the city hall, city library, and parts of Överjärva Gård.
You will be placed in the City Management Administration's department for economic and operational governance, where the city's centralized financial functions are gathered. The team, which works together for the technical administration and the companies, consists of additional controllers and accounting economists. You will work closely with the companies' CEO, managers, engineers, and department heads, as well as in close collaboration with both the technical administration and the city's central financial function.

What Does the Job Involve?
As a company controller, you will have overall responsibility for the financial process in both companies. You will work operationally with key parts of the financial process - budget, follow-up, and forecasting - and be the coordinator for the company's reporting - operational plan and budget, interim report, and annual report. The role combines operational work with strategic elements, such as long-term investment plans for water and sewage and property operations. You will also present matters at board meetings and be responsible for preparing financial materials for decision-makers.

Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for someone who has:
- A degree in economics or equivalent education
- Several years of experience in budget and forecasting work
- Experience in accounting and year-end closing in limited companies
- Good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel
- Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written.
We consider it an advantage if you have experience from the real estate or water and sewage industry, municipalities, or municipal companies. Experience with financial systems and decision support is also advantageous.
As a person, you are an unpretentious team player who enjoys juggling multiple tasks. You are structured, quality-conscious, and have an analytical approach. You thrive in a role with both independent responsibility and close collaboration.
