Tjörn Customer Center is part of the municipal executive administration and functions as the natural entry point to the municipality. We currently have six community guides and a unit manager who together create a work environment that is close to laughter, support, and development.

At Tjörn Customer Center, no day is like the other. We are the municipality's outward face, the first contact for residents, businesses, and visitors seeking help, guidance, or just a friendly hello. We are now looking for someone who wants to make a difference, every day.
What does a Community Guide do?
You are the municipality's face outwardly via phone, email, visits, and social media. You answer questions, guide through municipal e-services, handle cases, and ensure that each person receives good treatment and the right help.
You are also an important link between our various operations and contribute to creating a smooth and positive service experience.
Tourist Information is part of the assignment
The customer center also includes Tjörn Tourist Office. As a community guide, you'll meet not only residents and businesses but also tourists from around the world who want to explore our beautiful island. You provide tips, inspiration, and guidance about attractions, activities, and local gems, contributing to a warm welcome for our visitors.
What does the job entail?:
• Being the first contact for residents and visitors
• Providing information, guidance, and support on municipal matters
• Offering tips and inspiration to our tourists
• Assisting with digital services and systems
• Registering cases and directing them to the right department
• Working in multiple IT systems
• Participating in developing routines and improving service

QUALIFICATIONS
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking someone with a big heart for service and people. You are curious, solution-oriented, and enjoy juggling multiple tasks. You are confident, enjoy collaboration, and communicate well both verbally and with warmth.
We believe you:
• Have a high school diploma (preferably post-secondary education in a relevant field)
• Have customer service experience, preferably from the public sector
• Have very good digital competence and are quick to learn new systems
• Have very good skills in Swedish and English (additional languages are a plus!)
• Are structured, meticulous, and flexible
• Are a team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Employees in the municipal group should have a good work environment and balance between work, family, friends, and leisure. We apply a smoke-free working time and the employer offers benefits such as wellness allowances. After being employed for more than three months, you automatically become a member of our leisure association, TKFF, which organizes and sponsors various activities. You receive an annual pass to the Nordic Watercolor Museum. All new monthly employees are offered a full-day municipality-wide introductory day. If you are a permanent employee, you have the opportunity to lease an environmentally friendly car as a company car.
