**Main Responsibilities**
As a communication technician at F 21, you will work alongside other technicians to operate and maintain the airport's air traffic control systems, meteorological systems, radar systems, power supply systems, and more. We are responsible for the unit's communication platforms to ensure command and communication within and between units. These include both permanently installed systems at air bases and in vehicles and containers for surface deployment.
This means you will receive extensive technical training in areas such as data, telecommunication, and radar/radio systems. You will also receive training in flight safety to perform your work safely. Training is conducted both locally and at other locations through central schools or in collaboration with the industry.
Additionally, we participate in material and system development, as well as follow-up on technical documentation in cooperation with the defense industry.
The position may also involve participation in exercises and other activities, both locally and in field environments at other locations, throughout the year.

- Swedish citizenship
- Completed upper secondary education
- Good computer skills
- B driver's license (manual transmission)
**Personal Attributes:**
We are looking for someone who is technically inclined and has the ability to absorb new knowledge, both theoretically and practically, is service-oriented, and takes initiative. You should have good computer skills, be able to work flexibly and at different paces to manage varying tasks and workloads. You have the ability to work both independently, taking responsibility for your own tasks, and as part of a team. Since the position may involve tasks as an instructor and collaboration with various contacts within the Armed Forces, we also expect you to have good communication skills.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
**Meritorious:**
- BE, CE driver's license
- Upper secondary education in a technical program or equivalent
- Completed military basic training
- Post-secondary education in Electrical/Telecommunication/IT
