Algol Chemicals is a producer and distributor providing a wide range of industrial and specialty chemicals as well as polymers for industrial production processes. Annually, we are responsible for approximately 40,000 product deliveries and offer services to more than 3,000 industrial companies in Finland, Scandinavia, the Baltics, Ukraine, and India. Algol Chemicals is part of the Finnish Algol Group. In Scandinavia, we have both production and sales offices, and as a Sales Manager, you will belong to the Scandinavian sales organization based in our office in central Malmö.

Your mission as Sales Manager Plastics & Rubber
As Sales Manager Plastics & Rubber, you will play a key role in developing our market and customers within the segment in Scandinavia. Through an acquisition, we have recently introduced a large number of new raw materials and high-quality polymers, which also provides us with new opportunities moving forward. Your mission is to build the portfolio with new customers in plastic processing and injection molding, primarily in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. You will also manage several larger existing customers. Your focus will be on strengthening relationships so that customers always choose Algol Chemicals as their primary supplier.
You will work independently and set your action plan with goals and milestones. The work can preferably be performed from our office in Malmö or from your home office. You will also spend time with customers, which involves some travel, but you will plan that yourself.
The role involves:
• Actively seeking new business opportunities while developing existing customer relationships.
• Developing and driving sales activities towards customers within the Plastics & Rubber segment.
• Communicating with suppliers internationally.
• Working closely with your colleagues in Scandinavia and internationally to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Travel within Scandinavia (and in some cases internationally) is a natural part of the job.
Who are you?
We believe you have experience from having worked in at least a couple of different sales roles and with B2B sales. You have the ability to drive your own activities and possess a hunter profile, ready to build a new portfolio of customers. You have experience in selling polymers or come from a manufacturing company of plastic components or similar and want to step into a commercial role.
To succeed in this role, we expect you to be goal-oriented, proactive, and capable of building trust at all levels. As a person, you are solution-oriented and a relationship builder, thriving in an independent role with significant personal responsibility.
What else? Since communication is crucial for the role, you must be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and you must have a driver's license.
