Safety Specialist in Construction Work Environment, Electrical and Traffic Safety Job Responsibilities Within the Large Projects division, Norrbotniabanan is a railway for faster, safer, and more environmentally friendly travel and transport. We have gained legal force on railway plans between Dåva (Umeå) and Skellefteå, which means we are now building and complementing our support function for construction work environment ahead of production start. As a safety specialist, you will primarily support Norrbotniabanan in matters concerning construction work environment and electrical and traffic safety in railway and road projects. This involves supporting project management from project planning to implementation and follow-up. In this role, you will be responsible for the tasks, issues, and coordination needed in your areas. Your responsibilities include: • Contributing to project risk analysis, project specifications, and control programs • Participating in preparing tender documents and supplier procurement • Reviewing safety plans and work environment plans • Supporting reporting and handling of accidents, incidents, and deviations • Contributing to experience feedback in strategic matters Qualifications We are seeking candidates who: • Have a college or university degree of at least 180 ECTS credits with a technical orientation, or other education and experience deemed equivalent by Trafikverket • Have several years of current and relevant work experience in construction work environment • Have several years of current and relevant work experience in electrical and traffic safety • Have current and relevant experience with contract monitoring and controls in construction work environment for railway and/or road • Have current and relevant experience with contract monitoring and controls in electrical and traffic safety for railway and/or road • Have current and relevant experience working with Swedish laws, regulations, and guidelines for construction work environment • Have current and relevant experience working with Swedish laws, regulations, and guidelines for electrical and traffic safety • Have good computer skills and experience with Office suite • Have good Swedish language skills, both verbal and written • Have a valid driver's license for passenger vehicles Advantageous additional qualifications: • Current and relevant experience working in large and complex infrastructure projects • Current and relevant production experience in construction work environment • Current and relevant production experience in electrical and traffic safety What We Offer: - Flexible work with option to work remotely up to two days per week - Generous vacation days (31 days from age 30, 34 days from age 40) - Parental leave supplement of 10% beyond standard government benefits Application location options: Luleå, Skellefteå, or Umeå Preliminary interviews will be held via Skype during weeks 50-51.
