State Institutional Care (SiS) is a government agency responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for youth with complex psychosocial problems and adults with substance abuse. SiS also implements closed youth care. We do this at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse, across the country. At SiS, your work life will be an exciting challenge. SiS LVM Home Hornö receives men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. We receive men with mental health issues and men with aggressive behavior. We are tasked with providing care for clients with special care needs.
Job Description
As a Safety Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the systematic safety work at the institution. You will work operationally with safety-related issues such as risk and safety assessments. Your tasks include coordinating planning, implementation, and follow-up of safety work at the institution. You are responsible for coordinating the implementation and development of local procedures, guidelines, and action plans in the safety area. Other important and priority tasks include handling safety assessments and the institution's incident reporting (ISAP). You will also coordinate drug prevention and information security work at the institution. As a Safety Coordinator, you will be involved in introductions, training, and exercises in the safety area. You will coordinate the conflict management group and serve as a substitute for other conflict management team members during their absence regarding conflict management training.
You will work closely with the central safety department and other safety coordinators in the agency.
Qualifications
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates who have:
• Education in the safety field, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
• Experience in safety work
• Experience working in an environment with incidents and serious events
• Experience in areas of exercise, training, and risk and safety assessments
• Good computer skills (Office package)
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing (Swedish)
• Class B driver's license
Meritorious:
• Experience working with compulsory care or deprivation of liberty
• Experience in technical physical security work
• Language skills other than Swedish

Employment:
This is a permanent full-time position, beginning with a six-month probationary period. Start date to be determined by agreement.
