Recently, Bankgirot has been tasked with developing the payment infrastructure of the future and is working on a service for payments based on Nordic standard formats. This will be carried out gradually over the coming years. You will thus enter an exciting phase of construction and development with ample opportunities to influence the way forward.
Are you one of Bankgirot's new Security Architects?
We are looking for two experienced Security Architects:
- One with a focus on strategic and long-term work on modeling, building, and managing security architecture.
- One with a focus on operational and technical work involving implementations, design, and documentation.
Both roles are equally senior and require at least five years of experience in security architecture.
Strategic Security Architect
In this role, you will work long-term on modeling, building, and managing security architecture. You will be responsible for frameworks, structures, and models, ensuring they continuously evolve with the needs of the business. The role involves close collaboration with the architecture council and management to anchor decisions and contribute to the organization's strategic direction.
Examples of responsibilities:
• Develop and manage frameworks and models for security architecture.
• Ensure compliance with governing principles and guidelines, and that architectural documentation on security measures and solutions is created in accordance with Bankgirot's current instructions and aligns with governing principles for information security.
• Lead and coordinate architectural forums and decision-making processes.
• Contribute to long-term plans and strategic choices within the security domain.
• Coordinate adherence to governing architectural principles for security in the organization's ongoing programs, projects, and initiatives.
• Ensure that the organization has the appropriate security measures for its operational purposes.
• Translate threat scenarios through risk management into security measures, as well as convert security requirements into sustainable security solutions. Threat modeling, risk analysis, and design of security controls.
Operational Security Architect
In this role, you will work more hands-on and be a key person in creating design documents, technical implementations, and solution descriptions. You will support the business in transitioning to new security solutions and contribute to the effective execution of initiatives and projects.
Examples of responsibilities:
• Work operationally with technical implementations and design in projects.
• Lead the development of architectural descriptions and solution descriptions.
• Lead and be responsible for architectural collaboration on security issues with suppliers and participate in architectural forums.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of routines, processes, and controls.
• Participate in architectural forums and collaborate with suppliers on technical security issues.
As a Security Architect, you will be part of a team with architects and those responsible for daily operations and IT delivery at Bankgirot.
Both roles involve a lot of hands-on work, and regardless of the role, you will be responsible for developing structures, models, and documentation.
The position is located in Stockholm, at Bankgirot’s office in Liljeholmen, with some possibility for remote work.
Are you the one we're looking for?
• Deep expertise in IT architecture, security, and governance of security capabilities.
• Ability to translate threat scenarios through risk management into security measures, as well as convert security requirements into sustainable security solutions.
• Knowledge of process models, architecture models, and security models.
• Experience and knowledge of relevant architecture and security-related laws, regulations, standards, and frameworks.
• Ability to lead workshops with both business and IT experts as participants.
• Experience with modeling tools such as SPARX Enterprise Architect or equivalent tools.
• Ability to understand and relate to the organization's purpose, goals, and strategies, and when necessary, identify, define, and suggest changes.
