We at Vårdcentralen Ekholmen are seeking a new wound care nurse and welcome you to apply to our workplace. Our Offer Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated healthcare centers, Healthcare Center Finspång, Child Healthcare Unit, 1177 and emergency centers during evenings and weekends, and General Medicine Training Center. Vårdcentralen Ekholmen is an academic healthcare center within Primary Care Center with a special focus on research and teaching. Vårdcentralen Ekholmen is located in the southern part of Linköping and currently has approximately 22,000 registered patients. We offer you, as a new nurse/district nurse, a tailored introduction based on your needs. Job Description As a wound care nurse/district nurse, you will be responsible, together with a colleague, for the healthcare center's wound care reception. You will have an independent role where you assess, treat, and follow up on your patients. The assignment includes continued development of the wound care reception and training colleagues in wound care treatment. You will also work with telephone counseling and handling walk-in patients. You will have varied work tasks and collaborate closely with other professional groups. Work Group We are approximately 70 employees at the healthcare center who enjoy working together in an open work climate. Currently, 25 nurses and district nurses work at the facility. The healthcare center includes a doctor's clinic, specialist nurse clinics, nurse reception, child healthcare, psychosocial competence, dietitian, foot care, and laboratory. We also manage several elderly care facilities and work closely with home healthcare services. More information about working with us can be found here. About You You are a licensed nurse or district nurse, with experience working with different types of wounds. Previous work in primary care is meritorious but not required. You must have proficiency in the Swedish language, both verbally and in writing, corresponding to C1 level. You have good collaborative skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. Furthermore, you have a pleasant approach towards patients and colleagues. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to make independent decisions within your profession. We are looking for someone who adapts easily to changing circumstances, is stress-resistant, and communicates clearly and without pretension. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
