Now Hiring: Sales Leader for Coop Stationsstaden Store!
As a Sales Leader, you will have sales, operational, and result responsibility for your department in the store. You will closely collaborate with Store Manager, Sales Manager, and colleagues to optimize and contribute to the store's development and success, both short and long-term.
In your customer-oriented leadership, you will drive your department commercially, based on established goals, with professional leadership and customer interaction.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading sales efforts within your area of responsibility to achieve increased sales, results, and customer satisfaction
- Creating a sales-driven and inspiring environment in your department
- Working with Coop's shared culture and core values
- Product supply, price maintenance, etc.
- Initiating, leading, and driving various initiatives to improve profitability and results
- Coaching and planning for employees within your area of responsibility, such as task allocation, skills development, new employee onboarding, adherence to routines and regulations, etc.
- Monitoring sales development, budget, and margins, and actively working to reduce waste and spoilage
- Ensuring compliance with Coop's sustainability policy
- Participating in daily operations – Cash work, product picking, etc.
The position is a permanent employment, starting early January 2026, with 35 hours per week. Probationary period applies. Work hours may vary as we are open when our customers want to shop, from morning to evening, Monday to Sunday.
Requirements:
- Experience and competence in grocery and/or retail sales or similar service profession
- Experience in personnel management
- Documented good sales results in retail is meritorious
- Good computer skills. Previous experience with SAP, HR+, and SoftOne is advantageous
Education:
- High school diploma is required
- Post-secondary or university education is meritorious

Furthermore, you enjoy working in constant development, see and act based on the entire store. When leading others, it is important that you are social, attentive, empathetic, persistent, have good communication skills, and ability to make decisions.
