Sales Manager for Meetings & Events at Strömstad Spa & Resort
Are you an engaged and results-oriented Sales Manager with experience from the course and conference market? Do you want to help create fantastic experiences for our guests? Then you're exactly who we're looking for!
Job Description:
• Identify, qualify, and contact potential customers with needs for the hotel's services in courses, conferences, meetings, and events, focusing on companies, organizations, agencies, etc.
• Actively prospect for new business opportunities through various channels, emphasizing customer meetings, hotel showcases, team meetings, phone, email, networking, customer events, etc.
• Develop and present sales proposals and quotes to potential customers
• Negotiate agreements and contracts with customers
Responsibilities:
• Identify and contact potential customers in the course and conference market
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers in Bohuslän
• Develop tailored offers and presentations for our customers
• Participate in trade fairs, networking events, and industry meetings to market the hotel
• Collaborate with the Strawberry sales team and other partner hotels within Norwegian Hospitality Group where appropriate
• Conduct market analyses to identify trends and opportunities in the market
• The position has no personnel management responsibilities and reports administratively to the CEO and sales-wise to the Head of Sales Strategy and Development at Norwegian Hospitality Group
Qualifications:
• Relevant sales experience, preferably from the hotel or event industry
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to build relationships and work independently
• Proficient in sales techniques and sales psychology
• High self-discipline and self-motivation to achieve goals, even when facing challenges
• Good knowledge of digital tools and CRM systems
• Results-oriented with a proactive approach
• Driving license - Class B
