ABOUT THE POSITION
As a salesperson, you will play a key role in the sales team within our client's port operations. You will focus on customer needs, drive business forward, and collaborate closely with technical experts to design tailored solutions. The role involves contributing to complex projects, ranging from advanced automated terminal systems to customized technology solutions for ports globally, within an international and supportive team. You will be part of a diverse and supportive team based in VÀsterÄs, with colleagues from various countries, backgrounds, and generations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The role involves driving sales and developing customer relationships within the port industry, focusing on technically complex solutions. You will work to understand customer needs and translate these into concrete, innovative projects.
* Drive bid preparations in collaboration with internal networks and colleagues.
* Identify new business opportunities and create customized proposals.
* Lead cost calculations, evaluate scope, and manage deviations.
* Participate in technical and commercial negotiations.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to build trust and deliver value.
* Represent our client with professionalism and integrity.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Holds a Master's degree in engineering or equivalent technical education.
- Has advanced technical understanding to grasp complex products.
- Possesses a good ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Is fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
It is advantageous if you have
- Experience in customer-facing roles, either in sales or other customer contact.
- Experience in managing commercial transactions.
- Additional language skills beyond Swedish and English.
