**About the Position**
BI-QEM Resins in Perstorp is seeking an engaged and business-driven salesperson who wants to contribute to the development of the company's sales in the European market. You will be responsible for nurturing and developing existing customer relationships as well as actively targeting the market to create new business opportunities. The position is based in Perstorp, and you will report directly to the CEO.
Your geographical area of responsibility includes Northern Europe down to the Alps, with Germany being the most important market. You will work with customers in Sweden, Finland, Norway, France, Poland, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, and you will travel regularly to meet clients.
You will be part of a close-knit team where you collaborate closely with your colleagues in Perstorp and with a salesperson based in France.
**Your Main Responsibilities**
• Responsible for the sales of BI-QEM Resins products to industrial companies in Europe
• Develop existing customer relationships and create long-term partnerships
• Identify and target new customers and market segments
• Plan and conduct customer visits, presentations, and negotiations
• Follow up on business opportunities and contribute to the company's development
• Work closely with other functions in the organization to create comprehensive solutions for customers
**Who Are You?**
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enjoys a role that combines technology, business, and customer contact. You are positive, see opportunities, and find it easy to build relationships.
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
• Several years of experience in sales to manufacturing industrial companies
• A good understanding of business and customer needs
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written – knowledge of German is an advantage
• Computer skills and experience working with ERP systems
• A valid driver's license (B category)
Knowledge in chemistry and experience from the process industry are advantageous.
**About the Company**
The main business of BI-QEM Resins AB is the manufacturing of organic chemicals focusing on binder systems primarily used in the metalworking and construction industries. The binder systems can be categorized into main groups including phenolic resins (resoles and novolacs), amino resins, melamine, and urea resins.
Typical applications for thermosetting resin binders include impregnation (paper, fiberglass, textiles, etc.), abrasives, insulation rolls, molds, foamed products, plywood, particle boards, refractory bricks, concrete additives, and more.
