About this role
In the fresh produce department, you will be part of a close-knit team that works efficiently together to provide customers with the highest level of service, the finest ingredients, a wide selection of products, and culinary joy. We collaborate with some of Sweden's and the world's leading producers to offer our customers the very best in food. We have a manual delicatessen counter featuring cheese, charcuterie, meat, fish, and seafood, as well as many refrigerators stocked with pre-packaged fresh products. The department also produces catering items, food bar offerings, and our own sandwiches, salads, and more.
Your primary focus will be on the manual delicatessen counter. Throughout your workday, you will engage in sales, provide tips and advice to our customers about the products, and restock and organize the deli counter. You will also fillet fish, handle meat, charcuterie, and fantastic cheeses. Another important aspect of the job is maintaining cleanliness and adhering to our food safety management routines. Other tasks may include production in the kitchen, product selection, supplying the salad bar, date checking, and of course, much more. Customer focus is central to all tasks, and we always prioritize the customer first. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to the sales in our deli counter.
As we are a developing store, there may also be opportunities for other tasks in different departments, so it is important that you are humble and open to learning new things. Here, you will be part of a fast-paced work environment with high engagement. The store is experiencing positive growth with a rapid pace of change, and we see challenges as opportunities. We are looking for someone who also has a positive outlook on development.
