Prosecution Authority Seeks Security Specialist for Physical and Technical Security
The Prosecution Authority is seeking a security specialist in physical and technical security for the Security Department at the headquarters in Stockholm. The Security Department has both strategic and operational responsibility for areas including employee protection, security protection, and civil defense. Physical and technical security issues are relevant across all operational areas. The department currently has approximately 30 employees distributed across three units. The department is led by a Security Chief who is part of the agency's management team, with each unit led by a unit manager.
We are now recruiting an engaged security specialist focused on physical security who wants to contribute their expertise to an important societal function. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work both strategically and operationally in a broad and developing position. You will have a crucial coordinating function where you contribute to ensuring consistency and quality in security work, while also serving as support for colleagues in their daily tasks.
As a security specialist, you will be placed in the Civil Defense unit and have a coordinating role in relation to your colleagues in physical security, which involves some responsibility as an operator for prioritization and administration.
Your Responsibilities
- Requirements and coordination of physical security issues for both new workplace design and renovations of existing workplaces
- Operational support for prosecution chambers and the security department in physical and technical security matters
- Method and process development in close collaboration with other parts of the agency and external actors
- Advisory and support with administrative governance processes for the organization in security matters related to physical and technical security
- Monitoring of regulatory compliance in the area
- Conducting and participating in risk analyses
- Assisting the department's security specialists in physical and technical security issues
- Assisting in crisis and security planning
- Local and regional collaboration with other authorities and actors on security issues
- Planning and implementation of security training for the agency's personnel
- Serving as a security preparedness officer at headquarters
- Work involves travel throughout Sweden
Your Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who have:
- Experience working with physical and technical security
- Relevant post-secondary education in the security field
- Good knowledge of information security and physical security requirements
- Good knowledge of delaying capabilities (such as access restrictions like doors, walls, ceilings, locks, etc.) regarding physical security
- Good knowledge of detection capabilities (such as intrusion alarms, camera surveillance, or technical access control) regarding technical security
- Good knowledge of handling capabilities for physical and technical security
- Excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
Additional Merits:
- Experience in coordination and operational support in project design
- Experience developing effective administrative routines and governance
- Work with risk analyses and their follow-up
- Some knowledge of acoustics and eavesdropping protection, signal interception protection, and protection against hazardous substances

About the Position:
- Permanent employment with a six-month probationary period
